The short version
This site is still new, and right now we don’t have any active affiliate partnerships. There are no affiliate links on the site yet. When that changes, this page will say so specifically — which programs, and what that means for you — rather than a general list.
Where this is going
We intend for this site to earn money through affiliate links, where clicking through to a retailer and buying something may pay us a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
When we do have live affiliate links, every article that contains one will say so at the top, before you read anything, and individual links will be marked in the page’s code as sponsored, which is what search engines expect.
What won’t change
We’ll never be paid to write a positive review, we won’t accept payment for placement on a list, and we won’t publish sponsored posts or paid links. If a commission ever pushed us to recommend something we wouldn’t otherwise, this site would stop being worth reading, and we’d rather it earned less.
What the retailer would know about you
If you click an affiliate link once they exist, the retailer usually sets a cookie so they can tell you arrived from here. We wouldn’t receive your name, address, payment details or anything about what you bought — at most, a note that a sale happened.

How we use images
Some images on The Eco-Friendly Life are made with AI image tools. Every one of them is labeled as AI-generated, either with a caption underneath or with a small label on the image itself. On Pinterest and Instagram we switch on each platform’s AI-generated label.
We use AI images to set the scene, like a kitchen compost caddy or a line of washing drying in the sun. We don’t use them to show a specific product, we never use them to suggest we’ve tested something, and we don’t use them to make anything look greener than it is. Product photos on this site come from the retailer or brand, or we took them ourselves, and we don’t alter them.
The people in AI images aren’t real and aren’t meant to look like anyone real.
