We check the claim before we trust the label
We are Al and Katrina — two trained teachers with two boys, five years apart. Neither of us started out as sustainability experts. What we had was a habit of researching things properly, and a household where every decision gets tested before it is written about.
That is what this site is: home, garden, parenting and community, covered from two teachers’ seats rather than a consultant’s. Where a recommendation rests on a study rather than our own experience, it says so.
